Alex Campedelli
The Manager
Alex was born and raised in Courmayeur. From a young age Alex frequented the mountain so much that he became the most experienced connoisseur and achieving the title of Alpine Guide. In 2012 he joined the 100-year-old Società Guide di Courmayeur and in 2017 he became its youngest President. He still holds the prestigious position today. In 2016 he obtained a specialization in Alpine Rescue Technician with specialization in Heli-Rescue. It operates at the base of Aosta. In 2019 he became Head of Technicians.
The profession of Alpine Guide is accompanied by that of engineer. He deals with energy redevelopment, renewable sources and plant design
Franco Perlotto
The Warden
Mountain guide, traveler and journalist and photographer, he wrote travel and mountaineering reports on the main Italian and foreign newspapers. He was one of the great Italian lone climbers and pioneers of our free climbing.
He began attending Mont Blanc during his military service at the Alpine military school in Courmayeur, when he was already an aspiring guide.
Having become an expert on emergencies and development cooperation, he has worked for international bodies on humanitarian missions in the Autonomous Palestinian Territories, Sri Lanka, Chad, Bosnia, Rwanda, Sudan and the Congo.
From 2009 to 2012 he was mayor of Recoaro Terme.
After a first experience in his youth as an aide at the Monzino Hut, from 2016 he decided to return to the mountain world managing the difficult Boccalatte Hut in the Grandes Jorasses.
